Add 'When Hitler Stole Pink Rabbit' by Judith Kerr to the National Curriculum

What the petition asks
In tribute to Judith Kerr, and in recognition of the divisive politics of this era, I propose that the author's autobiographical account of her experiences as a refugee child in 1930s Europe be included on the national curriculum reading list.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept your petition because the national curriculum doesn't specify which texts should be taught. This is a decision for the exam board and not the UK Government or Parliament.
