What the petition asks
As we are all aware, Brexit has not proceeded as anticipated. Whether you voted Leave or Remain, we are all united in wanting to bring the issue of Brexit to a conclusion. The Commons should be reminded that the public want them to get on with resolving the most serious issue of this generation.
As we are all aware, Brexit has not proceeded as anticipated. Whether you voted Leave or Remain, we are all united in wanting to bring the issue of Brexit to a conclusion. The general public is rather fed up with what it views as the political point scoring, posturing and tactical games played in Westminster, and wishes the Commons to actually make progress. It is clear they will need time to do so, and the Summer Recess is the perfect opportunity to get on with it unencumbered.
