Make it illegal to scrap vessels that are on the Historic Fleet Register.

What the petition asks
The historic fleet is an important part of our heritage. Without them, we lose naval history and shipbuilding history which many people have strong memories of.
These ships served, but simply being on the register for National Historic ships does not protect them from the fate of scrapping.

The scrapping of historic warship HMS Plymouth, and the last Type 42, the scrapping of museum vessel HMS Onyx, the future scrapping of Steam Tender Calshot and scrapping of WW2 pt boat, scrapping of light vessel, the vandalism of P.S Ryde to point of being scrapped, the future protection of HMS President (Saxifrage) from 1914-1918 war.
