What the petition asks
I am a taxi driver in a lovely town that Uber has now invaded our local taxi drivers are all suffering
Councils should stand by us taxi drivers that pay councils revenue
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for deciding which taxi and private hire companies are licensed. Those decisions are taken by local elected bodies, usually local councils.
