Ensuring funding and access to therapy for victims before trials

What the petition asks
Rebecca Hitchen of the End Violence Against Women Coalition says 'the justice system as a whole doesn't understand sexual violence and the impacts of trauma'.
There have been women who have ended up homeless, due to the debilitating impact a lack of access to therapy has had on their mental health. Other victims fear they are going to 'snap' any time soon.
Something needs to be changed. Victims should never have to choose between prioritising their mental health and seeking justice.
