What the petition asks
If England win the Cricket World Cup this year, in England, the country could honour its cricketers by changing the naming convention for storms so that each storm is named after a great England fast bowler, past or present. For example, Archer, Bedser, through to Snow, etc.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
