Prompt the PM to put a target to cut greenhouse gas emissions to zero into law.

What the petition asks

Moved by the early morning news of leading climate scientists encouraging the Prime Minister to put into law a target to cut greenhouse emissions to zero, prompted me to put on social media that there needed to be a petition. A reply stated that I should start one.
Climate change, interesting one. The President of the USA, Donald Trump doesn't believe in it, personally I do. The article that I read is at the following link:- https://www.itv.com/news/2019-05-31/scientists-call-on-pm-to-bring-in-net-zero-greenhouse-gas-target/?fbclid=IwAR19gMwEZPwro19vOxCSQ7z-vAizqHwBHeeyU-VEbLxv0bxLAIk-T-ozt38
A 'Google' search gives about 771,000,000 results (where as Brexit gives about 396,000,000 results).

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

The House of Commons recently passed a law to set a net zero greenhouse gas emissions target. We're not sure what further action you would like taken.
