What the petition asks

Functional Neurological Disorder (FND) is a common, disabling cause of neurological symptoms, People with FND can experience symptoms including: weakness and abnormal patterns of movement, attacks/seizures, sensory & cognitive problems, visual & speech problems. WE NEED TO SPREAD AWARENESS!

Treatment is through specialist rehabilitation, with the emphasis on multi-disciplinary care, however this isn't quickly attainable and can take many months to access. It is often disregarded in the medical field. I am hoping for a secure, accepted treatment plan, with people who are specialised in these complex areas and the correct treatment order and rehabilitation plan. We need to contribute toward awareness, and the education of professionals and people surrounding those with FND.
