Please introduce legislation to prevent the NHS being sold off in trade deals.

What the petition asks

Our NHS is the most precious thing. The US are making noises that they would want its healthcare firms to be able to bid for NHS contracts as part of a post-Brexit trade deal with the UK.

We want it legislation that prevents whoever is running the country from selling our NHS to other countries.
Boris Johnson has already said “probably the entire economy” of Britain will be “on the table” if the two nations ever begin talks on a pact.

Nigel Farage (who could one day lead the country) has said we need to move to a US insurance model.
