Parliament Summer Recess to be delayed until Brexit impasse is resolved.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

If the government were the board of a company with a turnover of over Two Trillion Pounds (UK GDP) the shareholders would expect the board to cancel their summer leave were there a crisis of Brexit proportions unresolved.
It is entirely unsatisfactory and crassly incompetent to “wind down the clock” until 31 October because MPs have gone on holiday. For the sake of the country Parliament must sit until the current deadlock is broken.
