Petition · past parliament
The people of Wales should make the decision on the M4 relief motorway
Rejected

What the petition asks
The decision by The Welsh government to reject the proposed M4 relief road around Newport to alleviate drastic traffic congestion has been met with delusion in South Wales. Only the public should be allowed to make a decision to reject the go ahead on public spending of this scale.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Motorways in Wales are the responsibility of the Welsh Government, not of the UK Government or Parliament.
