What the petition asks
Legal Aid is very expensive and only people on certain benefits can have it. Due to that, we have an unfair justice system where many people are unable to access the right representation in courts etc. Legal Aid should be like Education and Health, and that is for free.
Pro Bono Lawyers are burning themselves out because many people are relying on them. That still leaves people who don't have Legal Aid, still unable to get it. If it was free that puts pressure off of Pro Bono Lawyers.
