Make random drug and alcohol tests on all MP's and Lords at their places of work

What the petition asks
With the publics lack of confidence in our governing bodies at an all-time low and PM candidates admitting to drug use, a cleanup with the threat of immediate sacking of positive drug results and suspensions for alcohol excess would help to restore some of the public confidence
Drug and alcohol testing in the workplace is legal as long as it is administered fairly, however, it is not enforceable by law; you can refuse to partake in a drug or alcohol test. Your employee should not single out individual employees for drug or alcohol testing unless this is justified by the nature of their job.
However, by publishing the results, including if an individual refused a test the threat of deselection would make sure most of them would act responsibly.

Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for MPs to be sacked.
