What the petition asks
Make a General Election compulsory when the Leader of a Governing Party/UK Prime Minister is removed by his/her party or stands down and a new Leader/PM is selected by his/her party. The PM is a pivotal figure in Government and should not be installed without reference to the wider electorate.
