What the petition asks
The House of Lords are surplus to requirement in this day and age. It is a waste of Tax Payers money. They are suppose to thoroughly scrutinise the making of laws. They cannot do this if most of them are asleep on the job when in Parliament.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
