Scrap the TV Licence free.

What the petition asks

Given the BBC has decided to scrap free licences for over 75s, and majority of programmes are repeats, It is now time to stop the pretence that the BBC is a public broadcaster providing a public service and for the BBC to have to survive commercially.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Abolish the BBC television license.
Continue to fund free TV licences for the over 75 in the future.
