What the petition asks
Supermarkets follow guidelines, but guidelines dont follow nature or what is natural. Put subsidies into ethical farming, not intensive farming. Give the uk a farming industry after brexit. I dont want to be vegan, I love dairy; but I dont want to fulfil that need by causing pain for greed.
Guardian article on Dairy Farming which follows guidelines shows how supermarkets hide behind outdated guidelines
Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure whether you want to ban certain practices in dairy farming or incentivise more ethical practices through subsidies, or both. We're also not sure what you mean by "give the UK a farming industry after Brexit."
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
