What the petition asks
Students have studied for a minimum of a year for the new Mathematics A level designed by Edexcel. However, on completion of the exam many have found resources, past papers and specimen papers inadequate for was delivered for both Pure papers 1 and 2.
We have already started a minimum of two petition on change.org 12th June 2019 - we started a government petition to be ensured that the issue at stake will be resolved. However, because this is the future of thousands if not millions we as students would like to see some justice for exams which are beyond the levels of most students. There were even questions which were off the specification or which belonged in the third paper (Mechanics and Statistics).
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
This is the responsibility of the exam board and not the UK Government or Parliament.
