Preserve the coastline of Anglesey - terminate the Morlais tidal energy project

Rejected 18 signatures

What the petition asks

The Morlais project manages a 35 km2 site near Holy Island, Anglesey and has the potential to become one of the largest tidal energy sites in the world.

The project should be terminated before it destroys one of the most stunning, natural and popular coastal areas in North Wales.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can't accept your petition because the Morlais tide energy project needs the consent of the Welsh Government to proceed, not the UK Government or Parliament.
