Petition · past parliament

If Boris Johnson is appointed Prime Minister, a general election must be called.

Rejected 16 signatures

What the petition asks

Boris Johnson's appointment as Prime Minister would represent a drastic change in governmental policy. There is no mandate to take the UK out of the EU without a deal as he plans to do. We therefore demand, in the case of his appointment, that a general election be called.
