Make audiology departments accessible for d/Deaf/HOH people

What the petition asks
Most audiology departments across the UK require for a deaf or HOH person to phone them in order to make appointments/ get information. Deaf people struggle with phones. It's easier for a deaf person to make a hair appointment than a necessary audiology appointment. Help us to change this.
The only other options usually available to deaf people when making an audiology appointment are to use a text phone. Text phones are expensive and not every deaf person can afford one. The other option is to have someone else make the phone call for you which strips us of our independence. An online booking system/ text system or email system would make audiologists much more accessible for the primary people using these services.
