Petition · past parliament
Investigate Edexcel for its repeated negligence of the security of its exams.

What the petition asks
For three years in a row, at least one of its A-Level Maths papers has been leaked. Each time, students were told that its "established procedures" would be used without actually explaining what these "established procedures" actually are. More transparency is needed if they are to regain our trust.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
Ofqual is responsible for investigating leaks of examination papers. Ofqual is the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulations that regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England. It is a non-ministerial department and independent.
