Hold a general election following the governing party's leadership election

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

When a political party elects a new leader, through party MPs and members of their own party, they should instantly be subject to a general election so that the rest of the country can elect that leader as Prime Minister or not, rather than them just ascend to the premiership.
