Stop the UK from profiteering from vulnerable children applying for citizenship

Rejected 10 signatures

What the petition asks

The UK government is choosing to profit £640 per application from vulnerable children applying for UK citizenship. This means that the government is driving Syrian families into poverty when they apply for citizenship - and are not being refunded if they do not get it. We must change this injustice.
The UK charges 10 times more than any other European country for child citizenship applications. The government could make a profit of £5 million from these unacceptable charges.
