It’s getting more common in the uk that many people can’t afford to get a mortgage due to the credit score yet can afford to rent privately, when a mortgage is more affordable
Most people can’t get a mortgage due to poor credit score and needed At least a 5% deposit,

If you can afford £600 rent per month it’s certain you can afford a mortgage without jeopardising a relatives savings, property or investment,

Bring back the 100% mortgage without a guarantor and without a deposit,

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

We can only accept petitions which call for actions that are the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

These would be decisions for mortgage lenders, rather than the Government or Parliament.

You could start a new petition calling for a clear action that is the responsibility of the Government or Parliament. For example, a petition calling for the Government to invest more in schemes to help people buy there own homes.
