What the petition asks
It is the only weekly digest of information on Brexit, from all political sides, with an unbiased chair. It must run until Brexit is resolved.
Why it was rejected
It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
The BBC is an independent body governed by a Royal Charter. Under the terms of that Charter, the BBC is independent of government and the government cannot intervene in the BBC’s day-to-day operations.
