Axing 1 & 2 P coins and employing a rounding system. meaning if an item is marked 99p you pay £1 & 1p goes directly to the NHS. This will rase millions for the NHS. It will allso increase charity pot donations as people will be donating more 5 &10 ps as 2&1ps wont exist. The Mint will allso save £££

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular we're not sure whether you'd like to abolish one and two pence coins, or whether you'd like retailers to have to donate one or two pence to the NHS after every transaction.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
