Provide support and funding for veterans’ mental health

Closed 23 signatures

What the petition asks

I would like the Gov to provide funding for veteran mental health and for all service personnel to attend a 6 week rehabilitation course as part of resettlement. This could reduce Veterans suicide and reprogramme them for civilian life. It could also allow more centres offering support.
There are far too many unnecessary suicides
The services break us as people condition us to be expert fighting machines and when we have served Queen and Country of which we are proud to do no questions asked
We are then discarded like a broken toy and left to fend for ourselves when all we know is how to defend our country
You can't un-see conflict casualties or death of a colleague beside you
WE NEED HELP
THE MOD BROKE US THE MOD SHOULD FIX US NOT DEPEND ON CHARITY
SIGNED, A BROKEN EX SOLDIER
