Government must conduct a "fairness impact assessment" of all future legislation

What the petition asks
There is no “Duty of Fairness” in government legislation. It seems likely that this could detrimentally affect many people. The Government must conduct and publish a new analysis for each piece of primary legislation, showing how it will effect all groups in society.
According to Sir James Eadie QC “Parliament has no substantive, freestanding obligation to fairness” and that “It is clear from case law that the enactment of Primary legislation carries with it no duty of fairness to the public”. This is a quote from his submission to the judicial review into the equalization of the state pension age on 6 June 2019 at the High Court.
