A vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

This country does not need Boris Johnson as Prime Minister. A vote of no confidence by parliament will stop him from becoming PM and the eventual UK ruination this would entail.
He was elected by his own party, not by the nation. He does not have a true mandate to govern this country. Please sign this petition. 100,000 signatures means Parliament has to take note, but we need to act fast!

Why it was rejected

It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.

We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for Ministers to be sacked or for a vote of no confidence.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or the House of Commons, you could start a petition about that.
