What the petition asks
My elderly father was troubled in his later years by threats to charge him for care. He was told that he might have to pay the best part of £1,000 a week for a care home, something which he refused to accept. The NHS was supposed to provide care from cradle to grave. Getting old is not a crime.
Why it was rejected
There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.
