What the petition asks
Animals destined for slaughter are being transported in metal trucks in extreme temperatures with zero compassion for their wellbeing including receiving no water or respite.
It is a criminal offence to leave a dog in a car in extreme heat and all other sentient beings should have the same rights

The Animal Save Movements around the World bear witness to and document the conditions of animals being transported in trucks whilst travelling to slaughter houses.
In the UK these trucks are still continuing every day as usual in unbearable temperatures. Animals are suffering horrifically.
I propose new minimum standards are set to minimise suffering in extreme conditions.
