What the petition asks

We all know climate change and plastic pollution are real and anything we can do to help reverse the damage already caused is a must. This is just a tiny part of the problem but it is having a massive effect. Help me to bring this to the government’s attention for urgent reform.

Help save our planet and food chain! Wet wipes are reshaping rivers, blocking the water system, being swallowed by marine life and washing up on river banks because they are not biodegradable. We need our government to legislate to make all manufactured ‘wet wipe’ type products, such as baby/toilet wipes, biodegradable.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Ban the sales of normal and flushable wet wipes
