What the petition asks
Mental health and general wellbeing work hand in hand.
Educating ones self in how to live life well, how to recognise depression (etc.) in themselves and others and take measures to overcome and reduce the chances of repeat symptoms as a pose to taking a prescription for a medical 'fix'.

With mental health on the increase, events like the Mental Health Awareness Week on the 6th October have shone light into the huge issues the UK (and global) population faces when challenging mental health and positive wellbeing.
In the UK a BBC study found that 6 in 10 people suffer with mental health and that mental health in young people has increased.
Educating on good mental health and positive wellbeing will challenge the current culture to take more preventative options over medicating.
