What the petition asks
On August 4, the Indian government placed Kashmir under lockdown. There was an internet blackout and hundreds of thousands of troops in the valley. Now there is a unilateral move to scrap Article 370 giving special status to Kashmir. This can trigger the worst escalation of the conflict in 70 years.
