Provide more funding to help children with additional needs in MOD schools

What the petition asks
Children of military personnel that have conditions such as autism are not being fully supported within the MOD schools. Service families are being denied postings overseas or returned prematurely because there is a lack of education provision to support them. More needs to be done to fully support.
When children with additional needs are identified by the MOD, and prior to being assigned overseas, an assessment is conducted to establish whether that child is supportable. Quite often, service families are being denied postings overseas or returned prematurely because their children have conditions such as autism. There is no provision in place to support such children on places such as Cyprus, Gibraltar and other overseas locations where military personnel are assigned.
