Cease the charging of VAT on children’s school wear containing a logo

What the petition asks

My 15 year old son is tall (5’ 12”) I have recently been charged VAT on his logo’d school uniform because of the size - 34”/34” trousers and a 40” chest blazer. He is a child and will not wear these items outside school. I do not believe that VAT should have been levied.
VAT exemption on children’s wear should be absolutely applied to logo’d school clothing regardless of size of clothing

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make all school uniform VAT free regardless of size.
