Condemn the Hong Kong and Chinese governments over the Hong Kong Protests

Closed 379 signatures

What the petition asks

The UK should express its disapproval towards the Hong Kong and Chinese governments for their continued support of the Hong Kong Police Force, who have acted unprofessionally and violently towards peaceful protesters, seriously and indiscriminately injuring many citizens.
The protests that began in July have been largely peaceful, but the HK Police have reacted disproportionately, seriously injuring many. There are reports that police are colluding with local Triads, and that undercover officers are posing as rioters. The local governments have supported the police, and Beijing has even threatened military action against protesters. The UK must denounce this bullying, especially as a signatory to the Sino-British Joint Declaration.
