Unfortunately, far too many people are still under the common misconception that goldfish bowls provide an adequate home for a goldfish – and most of the time, this isn’t even their fault.
However, goldfish bowls are the equivalent to putting your goldfish in the toilet and expecting him to survive

1. Lack of filtration
2. Gold fish are high waste causing a build up of poisonous ammonia
3. Stunted growth due to the small size of the bowl
4. Suffocation due to lack of water movement and oxygen
5. Cruelty often flushed down the toilet due to large size
