Government must invest £17 million into Durham hospitals

What the petition asks
The NHS England have instructed trusts across the country to reduce their 2019/20 spending plans, this means that money earmarked for a new build hospital in North West Durham may now be gone.
We demand that the Government guarantees this money and ensures there is no reduction in health services in North West Durham.
This campaign is supported by our local MP. We have been campaigning for months and attending the CCG consultations, which themselves must have cost thousands, to convince our CCG that this ever expanding area deserves decent NHS services.
Money that was ‘earmarked’ for this purpose is no longer guaranteed - we want it back.
