Allow people to register privately trained emotional support animals
Rejected
13 signatures
What the petition asks
Emotional support animals should be able to receive the same legal rights as other guide dogs without facing discrimination
The fact that this is not already possible shows the government's lack of care towards people suffering with invisible disabilities such as autism and depression.
While guide dogs for blind and deaf people are given legal access rights, many people with hidden disabilities are forced to suffer in silence, some even being unable to go out at all for fear of being refused or discriminated against.
