Prevent media publication of social media content without consent

Closed 67 signatures

What the petition asks

Following tragic events, the media will trawl through the social media accounts of victims to find information and photographs that they can publish.

The Government should change the law so that publishers cannot use social media content without the consent of the owner or their next of kin.
