What the petition asks

Since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes a year ago, I have noticed how hard it is for insulin management. So basically for everything you eat or drink you need to know the carbohydrate value, the reason for this is to then give the correct amount of insulin for it to survive.

So what I would like to happen is for it to be a legal requirement just like the other nutritional value information on packets to have the carbohydrate intake on this section to.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Make it compulsory for restaurants & manufacturers to supply carbohydrate values
