Make it compulsory for MPs switching parties to hold an immediate by-election.

What the petition asks

MPs switching parties leave their constituents with an MP for a party they didn't vote for. If they wish to change parties, an automatic by-election should be triggered so the constituents can decide if this is acceptable or they need a new MP.

Why it was rejected

There was already a petition about this issue. Duplicates are rejected so signatures collect in one place.

Politicians who changes parties should have to go through a new By Election.
