What the petition asks

Several members of the UK's current Parliament in Westminster have decided to operate a "People's Parliament". This is not democratic and is against our democratic system that is looked on in admiration worldwide.

We want all MPs who sign up to this to be suspended immediately pending a full investigation and their salaries stopping until the issue has been investigated. If they choose to stand outside our democratic system they should not be funded by the public, and should not be allowed a say on UK matters whilst this is ongoing. We have a democratic system, they cannot decide to implement another one without consulting the people and following the correct process first.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The UK Government and Parliament aren't responsible for removing MPs from office because of their views or opinions.
