What the petition asks
John Bercow Should have retired a while ago but stayed on for Brexit. He has tried to hinder the Brexit process and in his latest words on prorogration has shown he is not longer fully impartial. He needs to retire and be replaced.
Why it was rejected
It was about honours or appointments, which petitions cannot cover.
We can't accept petitions about appointments, which includes calling for people to be sacked or to resign.
In any case, the resignation of the Speaker is a personal decision for the Speaker, and is therefore not the responsibility of the Government or Parliament.
If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
