What the petition asks
Any petition on this government petition site can be signed multiple times by any one person with multiple emails. Emails can be set up for free & you can create as many as you like for the purpose of giving a false result. Change this petition site to require DOB and NI number to sign

As seen on the link above, People are setting up multiple emails to sign these petitions misleading our government. If 2500 sign any given petition 4 times it reaches the 10000 required for the government to take action by responding. False result and multiple signings is deception.
The request is that the government make these petitions to require date of birth & national insurance number along with their email to sign any petition

Why it was rejected
It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.
The Government Digital Service monitors petitions to check for fraudulent activity. They use a number of techniques, automated and manual, to identify and block signatures from bots, disposable email addresses or other sources that show signs of fraudulent activity. This includes people who do not have national insurance numbers, for example people who are under 16 and some British citizens who live abroad.
