Petition · past parliament

The entire UK government and all elected members of parliament to resign.

Rejected 12 signatures

What the petition asks

The government to recognise and accept that the people of Great Britain hold them in contempt for failing to deliver Brexit in a timely manner and recognise this petition as a vote of no confidence in all the members of parliament.
Brexit vote = 23 June 2016
Currently = 5th September 2019
Likely Brexit date = never
Why? The government has failed to agree to an effective deal to leave Europe (Brexit) and has had 3 years to do so. Parliament is now blocking by law a no deal Brexit. With Europe unwilling to reach an effective agreement with the UK that the government may finally agree upon, the UK Government will have no choice but to withdraw it's application to leave Europe. Therefore the Government will have failed to deliver Brexit and the will of the people lawfully voted upon.

Why it was rejected

It asked for something that is not the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.

The Government and Parliament are not responsible for removing MP's from office because of their views or opinions.
