For Government to promote & invest in Child Friendly Communities across the UK.

Rejected 21 signatures

What the petition asks

Inspired by the great work of 'Child Friendly Leeds' & others, All Birmingham's Children Campaigning Charity (ABC) calls upon government to promote, encourage & invest in cities, towns & villages across the UK to promote 'Child Friendly Communities'.This will only benefit all of us living in the UK.
Children are often the neglected jewel of every community in the UK. The number of children living in poverty is a national scandal. All Birmingham's Children call upon the government, elected leaders, the children's commissioner, business & communities to work together to refocus and promote the best interests of ALL children living in the UK. Not just the boys, girls, white, black, tall, small, able, disabled children, but ALL children

Why it was rejected

It was not clear what the petition asked the UK Government or Parliament to do.

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do to create Child Friendly Communities.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
