What the petition asks
John Bercow has been speaker for ten years and has worked tirelessly to uphold the democratic process of the HoC. Alongside this he has also been of the Youth Parliament. Supporting people to get involved with parliament.
Previous speakers have been given a peerage at the end of their tenure. However in January 2019 the BBC announced that Rt Hon John Bercow may not receive his peerage. Something which is duly owed. https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.bbc.co.uk/news/amp/uk-politics-46913477
As The Speaker he has conducted himself in an impartial manor at a time of great division within our country and HoC. Facilitating debate from everyone from front to back bench.
